The Bulgarian Investment Consulting Agency (BICA) is a private company, which offers quality consulting services to foreign organizations doing or planning to do business in Bulgaria and neighboring countries. BICA works in fields such as: Information Technology, Equity Finance, Telecommunications, Real Estate, Hospitality, and Managed Services (managing contractors on behalf of foreign clients). Currently BICA is working with clients from the USA, Western Europe and Ukraine and also helps organizations in Bulgaria improve their contacts base, negotiation skills and respective marketing and sales strategy.

STRUCTURE AND BUSINESS MODEL

BICA is based in Sofia, Bulgaria and provides a pool of foreign and local experts along with several operational employees. Those flexible resources can be increased or decreased upon demand which enables BICA to provide high-quality services at affordable price tuned to the budget expectations of specific clients. BICA maintains a lean structure which allows for substantial cost savings from the reduced overhead, which in turn is passed to its clients. BICA is partnering with similar companies in the region and can provide coverage for Romania and Hungary as well.

MANAGEMENT

BICA management is represented by Andrey Bachvarov – who has previous expertise at senior positions with foreign companies operating in Bulgaria. Andrey has been awarded the excellent presentation prize for the “Manager of the Year 2005” award by “Evrika” foundation; he is a PhD researcher at the Sofia University and the Bulgarian Senator-representative for the Europe United Party. BICA is also in the process of completing its advisory board attracting established industry experts from abroad.
